You may have heard something about Grade Level Raffle Baskets recently. I'm here to help spread the word on how a little healthy competition between our grades can help support the PTA and all we do for our schools. What are these baskets?
Baskets are getting built from the donations collected from our students' families. Every grade has a theme and all the items collected will be assembled into LARGE gift baskets that will be raffled off at our Wildcat Grownups Night Out (WGNO) fundraiser on Sunday, May 7!
How many baskets?
Each grade is building 1 basket. So there will be a total of 9 baskets in the raffle.

How does this help the PTA?
All the money raised from WGNO and raffle ticket sales goes directly to fund our annual budget. We spend nearly $40 per student for all of the events and programs that we do. With only 1 in 10 families paying the annual PTA membership fee, we need to make up the difference via fundraising. Without this financial support, we cannot continue to hold fund all of the great things we do like: Wildcat Dash & Back to School Bash, One Book/One School, Fall Festivals, Reflections, Science Fair, and more!
How can I help?
There are 3 easy ways you can help!
Donate an item! Look up your grade's basket wishlist and buy an item to donate (Grade themes and wishlist links can be found HERE)
Donate $$ Let us do the shopping! Go to the Spirit Store and buy a grade donation. It's easy: select your grade, donation amount, and pay online.
Buy Raffle Tickets to Enter to Win Tickets will be available at these upcoming events - look for the PTA table:
Spring Musical at Westview Hills - Fri 4/28, Sat 4/29, Sun 4/30
Holmes Art Festival - Mon 5/1
Holmes Movie Night - Fri 5/5
Tickets are $5 each or 6 for $25. Just let the PTA volunteer know which basket(s) to enter your ticket(s) in for the drawing!
Anything else I should know?
For every $25 you donate (either $$ or item value) you will get a FREE raffle ticket! So when you donate from the wishlist - be sure to submit as a gift to include your name and email so we can reach you to make sure we enter your ticket(s) where you'd like. Please have items arrive by May 1 at the latest.
When is the raffle again?
Grade baskets will be raffled off (along with a LOT of business-donated items) during WGNO on Sunday May 7. Please consider buying tickets to come to the fundraiser, too! Raffle winners need not be present to win, but some raffle items will ONLY be available to WGNO attendees. So, which grade will build the biggest basket??
